In the previous post I looked at the chart for the time a missing Northwestern student was last seen leaving a party on Saturday 22 September 2012. Since then his body has been found in Wilmette harbor on Lake Michigan and the cause of death was determined to be drowning. The chart for the last siting by friends suggested that he had died and news of his death would become available on Friday 28 September 2012.
News reports also revealed that the police searched the harbor because his cell phone’s last ping was from a tower near Wilmette harbor:
“Investigators say a signal from the student’s cellphone pinged a communications tower near the harbor about 1 a.m. Saturday. He was last seen leaving an off-campus party at 12:30 a.m. Saturday. He has not been heard from since.”
Here is the chart for the last ping:
This chart is 30 minutes later than the “last seen” chart discussed in my previous post. The house cusps remain the same. A major difference is that Neptune has moved from the 9th house at 0:30 a.m. into the 8th house at 1 a.m., a position of Neptune consistent with death by drowning.
Another significant difference is that Uranus now closely conjoins the Midheaven, which would suggest some type of accident or precipitous event. If the ping occurred at 1:09 a.m., this conjunction would be exact. Uranus opposes Mercury, ruler of the 12th of undoing and the 3rd of local travel.
The Moon conjoins the 6th cusp of illness, ruled by Jupiter which the Moon opposes.
These astrological factors suggest that his diabetes may have played a role. Perhaps in a state of confusion or mental clouding, he accidentally fell into the harbor where he drowned. This interpretation is reinforced by Uranus (modern ruler of the 8th of Aquarius death) at the MC (an accident) square Pluto in the 6th of illness. Uranus square Pluto symbolizes a powerful and disruptive force. The involvement of the MC around 1 a.m. makes this the most prominent and active aspect in the chart.
The Moon in this chart sextiles Saturn (ruler of the 8th house of death) in 6 degrees 14 minutes, again suggesting that news of his death would arrive in about 6 days. Saturn is the traditional ruler of the Aquarius 8th cusp of death. Aquarius, the Water Bearer, is the constellation of stars that rose at sunset in ancient Egypt at the time of the annual flooding of the Nile.
